The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 examination to June 26, 2025. Previously, the last date to submit the applications was June 23, 2025. According to the official notice, the decision follows receipt of requests from various students who could not submit the online applications.

The CSIR UGC NET will be conducted in a computer-based format across three consecutive days — July 26, 27, and 28. The examination will consist of multiple-choice, objective-type questions, and will be held in both English and Hindi, with a total duration of 180 minutes.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) is a national-level examination that determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship in Indian universities and research institutions.
