Bonnie Langford snapped at Bradley Walsh after he convinced her she had answered a question wrong on The Chase. Bradley hosted a celebrity edition of the programme on Sunday evening, which originally aired in 2023. Bonnie, 60, was joined by radio DJ Melvin Odoom, motorsport champion Carl Fogarty and British gymnast Louis Smith. The pressure was on when Bonnie's turn to face the chaser arrived, as Carl and Louis had both been knocked out by Anne Hegerty.
The tense head-to-head went down to the wire, with the former EastEnders actress needing just one more correct answer to join Melvin, 44, in the final chase. Anne and Bonnie were asked: "Which ocean is connected to the North Sea by the Strait of Dover and the English Channel?" Filled with confidence, both Anne and Bonnie answered the question immediately. "You're joking me," exclaimed Bradley. "This is it."
Clenching her fists, Bonnie revealed she had chosen the Atlantic as her answer in favour of Indian and Arctic.
"Oh no," sighed Bradley as he placed his head in his hands, indicating that Bonnie had answered the question wrong.
"What?" the Dancing on Ice champion yelled before warning: "Don't do that to me Brad!"
However, it turned out the presenter was only teasing Bonnie as she went through with £8,000, taking the team's total to £16,000.
But even Melvin was riled up from the sidelines as he begged: "Don't do that!"
Joining in on the fun, Anne quipped: "He totally had you there."
Unable to stop giggling, Bradley observed: "I had Melvin going too there, fantastic!"
While the duo were delighted after making it through to the final chase, their performance wasn't quite up to scratch as they ended on a score of 12. Unfortunately, Bonnie and Melvin bid farewell to the £16,000 after The Governess caught them with 58 seconds remaining.
Following the defeat, Anne pointed out that the duo needed the help of Carl and Louis. Although they didn't win, both walked away with £1,000 for their chosen charity. Melvin chose Noah's Ark Children's Hospice while Bonnie opted for Macmillan Cancer Support.
