Resurfaced footage from more than a decade ago shows Taylor Swift speaking about when she was likely to get married. It's attracted attention this week following the news that the singer-songwriter got engaged to Travis Kelce recently.
Taylor, 35, and NFL star Travis, also 35, announced their engagement in a joint post that was shared with fans on Instagram on Tuesday. The proposal took place in the garden of the Kansas City Chiefs player's home, and since then, further details have been released.
Following the news, footage of Taylor hinting about potentially getting married in the future has resurfaced. It dates back 17 years, with the interview having taken place amid her rise to stardom following her debut two years prior.

The footage, which has been shared on social media, shows her in in 2008. Taylor, who was promoting her second album, Fearless, at the time, spoke to host Suzanne Alexander about dating in the public eye.
Sharing her thoughts, Taylor said that she admired singer Keith Urban and actor Nicole Kidman. She said that they didn't confirm their relationship until they were married, and had both kept the focus on their respective careers.
Taylor added: "I'm single right now, but it's like if I was dating somebody ... I think it's important to make sure that the focus is on your music. My music is where I'm always gonna be personal. I don't hold anything back in that category."
Suzanne went on to tease that Taylor might not get married until her thirties following her comments. The presenter mentioned that the guest's mother, Andrea Swift, was present for the interview and teased over Taylor's future.
The host said: "So we're not gonna find out until you're married and your mom's here so ... mom, [she's] not allowed to get married until she's 35, right? That's the way it works."
Taylor, who was 18 at the time of the interview, appeared to agree with the suggestion. She responded to the presenter: "I'm not ... no. It's gonna be late." She added: "Late in life."
The resurfaced footage, which has made headlines this week and been shared on social media, has attracted reaction from fans. Commenting on Instagram, one person wrote: "All the stars are alligned." Another said: "Wild."
Taylor and Travis announced their engagement in a joint post that included photos from the proposal. The couple, who were surrounded by flowers in his garden, showcased the ring, which Travis is said to have helped design.
In the caption of the post, beside a TNT emoji, they wrote to fans on Tuesday: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." The post included Taylor's song So High School, which was included as a track on her album The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, released last year.
