All Love Island winners are sent a special gift in the post every year - but it's not as glamorous as you might think! Kai Fagan, who won the winter edition of Love Island back in 2023 alongside new wife Sanam Harrinanan, has lifted the lid on the package, and unpacked the present the champs are given. He talked fans through what was inside on TikTok... but hardly left everyone impressed.
In fact, viewers can buy the present for themselves online... and it only cost £28. The hunk showed off what his gift was - a Love Island water bottle!
Kai said: “Here’s something you all don’t know about winning Love Island. So, you don’t only get £50,000, so £25,000 each if you split, not steal, but I don’t think they do that anymore – but you also get a yearly gift. It comes after ITV fans accuse Alan Titchmarsh of 'ruining' garden as foster parents were left sobbing.

"Now, I guess you don’t know what this yearly gift is. But before I tell you what it is, you also get a little letter. So this letter is from Mike Spencer-Hayter, the creative director of Love Island.”
Kai then read out what the latter says. “Hi Kai, I just want to say a massive thank you to you for supporting Love Island for the last 10 years. To show our appreciation and because you are one of the most iconic Islanders to ever go on Love Island – I mean, without you, the show is not possible – we sent you a present, and this is the most elite gift of them all.'”
Kai seemed to be happy with his present and went on: “It’s a Love Island water bottle! A new one! It’s got my name on it. So what I’m going to do now is wherever I go, I’m going to take this Love Island water bottle, just so people know that I not only went on Love Island, but that I won the show.
"So this will be when I’m in the gym, if I’m at work, teaching, even when I’m driving my car I’ll put the bottle out the window and just sip from it.”
His followers didn't appear to be as impressed. One told the winner: Love Island producers are so stingy. Sending a bottle as a thank you when they have all that money."
Another said: "These bloody water bottles are so jarring... every 10 seconds they just sip from them." A third person warned him: "After this tiktok they are never sending you a bottle again!"
The good news is he gets two bottles to enjoy! It has been two years since Kai and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned winners of Love Island and they recently got hitched only a year since their surprise engagement.
The pair first met at the iconic villa on the ITV2 show and made it all the way to final to scoop the £50,000 cash prize. Sanam, 27, showed off her elegant taste as she wore a stunning off-the-shoulder wedding dress.
With her dark hair cascading down over her shoulders, she completed her look with a floor-length veil and a huge smile as she gazed lovingly at her new husband, Kai.
Kai and Sanam have kept their loyal followers in the loop with the preparations of their big day. One of the latest updates was of the reality TV star's hen party.
At the time of their engagement, Kai shared the moment on social media and wrote: "Introducing the next Mrs Fagan. "Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you." He added: "I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
