The power was in the boys' hands in tonight'sLove Island as it was time for yet another recoupling - after the shock yesterday's dramatic Snog, Marry, Pie. It was Ben who made a shock move tonight, as he chose to couple up with Helena, leaving Harrison in the dark.
Things started off smoothly as Tommy picked Emily following his split with Megan and her departure. It was then over to new bombshell Gio, who picked Yasmin after the pair had spent days getting to know each other following Helena's 'pie'.
Despite having snogged Helena in last night's challenge, Harry chose to recouple with Shakira, but the villa was in for a shock when Ben chose to couple up with Helena. Helena had recently been getting to know Harrison, with the two even heading for a sneaky kiss on the Hideaway Terrace while he was coupled up with Toni.

It was then down to Harrison, and without the option of Helena, he decided to couple up with Toni once again. That left Conor and Alima in a friendship couple, after both Megan and Remell were sent home earlier in the week.
Fans were left shocked with Ben's choice, and although he said he needed to go with the girl he was vibing with the most - fans suspected it meant they were the next to be dumped.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one said: "Ben being first to pick Helena was calculated, can't wait for the next dumping."

Another said: "This must be set up set this up so Ben and Helena get dumped next, and honestly I ain’t mad about it," while a third said: "Helena and Ben probably means they can get dumped together." Others were left in shock, as one questioned: "Ben and Helena? When? How? Why? #LoveIsland"
Another exclaimed: "My jaw has dropped. Ben chose Helena???????????!!! I beg your finest pardon"
After the recoupling, Helena went over to speak to Harrison, who said he had prepared to pick her, even having planned out his whole recoupling speech.
Will Helena and Harrison continue their connection, or will we see something blossom between Helena and Ben?
Luckily, no one was dumped during this recoupling, meaning the Islanders could spare themselves the tears after last week's double eviction.
However, it wasn't the end of the drama, as the heart rate challenge wasn't far ahead, and things were about to get even spicier...
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
