The FBI has foiled a major terrorist plot to attack the Halloween festival in Michigan, USA. FBI Director Kash Patel stated in a post on Instagram that several individuals have been arrested in Dearborn for allegedly plotting the attack and are currently being questioned.

'Attempted terrorist attack in America foiled'

Kash Patel said in a post on X, "This morning, the FBI foiled a potential terrorist attack and arrested several individuals in Michigan. These individuals were allegedly plotting a major attack on Halloween. We thank the FBI and law enforcement officials who are on 24-hour vigil to protect the homeland." He said that further information about this plot would be released soon.

'There is no danger now'

"The FBI conducted a search operation in the city on Friday morning (October 31, 2025) to apprehend a suspect. We want to reassure our residents that there is no longer any threat at this time," the Dearborn Police Department posted on Facebook.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino also praised the operation. He said, "This is truly what proactive security agencies demonstrate. Protecting the homeland is our top priority. We will not rest."
