What is 'Kavach'?
Kavach is an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system designed to prevent collisions by maintaining prescribed speeds and alerting train drivers in real time. It ensures not only speed control but also helps trains operate safely even in dense fog or under technical failures.
The core idea is to add an extra layer of safety to avoid human errors — something that can be adopted in other transport systems too.
