Ltd, in a case of illegal sale of land reserved for public utilities like schools, parks, hospitals, and playgrounds has surfaced in Patel Nagar, said BMC official.
City planner Anoop Goyal stated that the 1.212-acre land, reserved under earlier city planning for primary schools, was under the ownership of the municipal corporation and covered by contracts signed in 1999.
Despite this, builder Anuj Grover allegedly sold the land to buyers Jay Pratap Singh Yadav and Abhishek Anand for Rs 3.90 crore on November 27, 2024, violating terms of both diversion orders (from 1962) and municipal agreements.
