The Rajasthan government has announced recruitment for 2163 posts of Technician-III in the electricity department. The last date to apply was 20 March, but the opportunity has now expanded with the addition of new posts.
The Rajasthan government has provided a great opportunity for those youth who have studied at an ITI and are preparing for government jobs. A total of 2163 vacancies have been announced for the posts of Technician-III in the three major electricity distribution corporations of the state - Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL), Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JDVVNL), and Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam (AVVNL).
The application for this recruitment process had already started from 21 February and its last date was 20 March. Initially, recruitment was announced for only 216 posts, but now the government has increased the total number of vacancies to 2163 by including 1947 new posts.
How many posts in which departments?
Out of these 2163 posts, the maximum recruitments have been taken out in Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam. After this, hundreds of posts are also vacant in the corporations of Jaipur and Ajmer. Apart from this, posts will also be filled in Rajasthan State Production Corporation.
Qualification and age limit
To apply in this recruitment, the candidate must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Talking about age, the minimum age of the applicant has been fixed at 18 years and maximum at 28 years. However, reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the government policy.
How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected through a fixed process, which includes first prelims exam, then mains exam, followed by document verification and finally medical exam.
How much is the fee?
For this recruitment, general category and other state candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000, while SC, ST, EWS, OBC, MBC category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

Click on the link related to recruitment on the home page. Then select the option of 'Apply Online'.
Click on 'New Registration' and fill all the required details.
Upload your documents and submit the form by paying the fee.
