Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has shared an encouraging update on his return from injury on social media following Saturday's 5-0 win over Leeds United.
Jesus has been out of action since picking up a serious knee injury in the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United at the start of the year. At the time, it was clear the Brazilian would be out for some time.
In his place, the Gunners have acted in the transfer market with Viktor Gyokeres arriving in the summer from Sporting CP. The Swede bagged his first two goals for the club against Leeds in only his second game.

Mikel Arteta's injury problems have already started to hinder the north Londoners this term with Kai Havertz suffering a knee injury last week. There are also concerns over Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka after the pair were forced off against Leeds.
Jesus will be hoping to get back to full fitness to help Arsenal reach their goals this season and the 28-year-old has posted a very positive update on his social media channels which show him working on the grass for the first time.
The clip included Jesus doing some mobility exercises at the training ground alongside some minor ball-work. The caption read: "It's been seven months of pain, uncertainty, and anxiety. Today, I finally feel light - like a child playing football again.
"GOD IS GREAT."
A return date of October has previously been mooted for Jesus. The former Manchester City star has under two years left on his deal meaning this season could be his final chance to prove his worth to Arsenal before a decision is made on his future.
