Former Real Madrid and Manchester United icon Cristiano Ronaldo believes Arsenal have the potential to clinch the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners have consistently been strong contenders, finishing as runners-up for three consecutive seasons and are currently vying for the top spot.
After a solid start with ten games under their belt, Mikel Arteta's squad is six points ahead of their closest competitors, Manchester City, while last season's champions, Liverpool, trail by seven points in third place.

Newly promoted Sunderland, who are level with Arne Slot's team, will be Arsenal's next challenge when they return to Premier League action this weekend.
Arsenal's defence has been particularly impressive this season, conceding only three goals in the Premier League and suffering a single loss in a 1-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield in late August.
Ronaldo shared his insights on the current Premier League title race during an appearance on the Piers Morgan Uncensored Podcast, where he discussed various topics related to Manchester United.
When questioned by Morgan, a fervent Arsenal supporter, about the Gunners' chances of winning the league, Ronaldo responded: "Could be. It's possible.
"I think the Premier League, the level of the teams is very similar the top ones. But you know the Premier League, you never know what's going to happen.
"It's a very difficult league, very tough league, but Manchester [City] are not going to win the league that's for sure. They are so many points behind right now. It's possible yes bit I don't believe it [that Man City can win the league].
"Arsenal, yeah it can be. It's possible, lets see. Yes, Arsenal can win the league it's possible."
Ronaldo has previously revealed how he was on the brink of signing for the Gunners before his switch to Manchester United from Sporting in 2003.
The Portuguese star confessed that he was very close to making a move to the Emirates Stadium and because of this, he takes pleasure in watching them play.
Ronaldo further stated: "When I look at Arsenal I'm always looking not like a rival. I was nearly there, so I'm not going to say that I have a passion for the club but I like the team.
"I like when they win because of that story. But that's life, that's football. It's about opportunities and moments. I took that opportunity [to join Man Utd ] but to be honest, I never lie, well sometimes I lie for a good reason.
"I was nearly at Arsenal but my story won't change a lot. Arsenal are still a top team and win titles with big players. Maybe Arsenal will be better but not too much."
